Hey guys! 🙋🏻🙋🏻
Today I thought I would share with you some pictures from the past couple of days, as I’ve been on a few nights out which have been really fun and I thought it would be cool to post some pics and tell you all about these nights 💃🏻🍾
On Thursday I went out for dinner and drinks with the girls – Em, Chantal, Daisy and Jess. I ordered a ‘Fruit Salad’ cocktail (the green one in the picture). This was really tasty, and I would definitely get it again. I wish the name was a bit more exciting though, I mean the girls were ordering Sex on the beach and I was like ‘yeah I’ll have a fruit salad please’. Spice it up a bit!
Whilst we were eating, we were scrolling through facebook and discovered that one of our local clubs was hosting a silent disco that night. After an hour of umming and aahing over whether to go or not, we decided to attend. I was buzzing as I’ve always wanted to go to a Silent Disco. This one however, was probably not as good as say the ones you’d find at Reading Festival. Since it was a Thursday night, the venue was fairly quiet and we left early because we had work the next day, if we had stayed later it probably would have been much better.
With the Silent Disco, we had to put on a pair of headphones each, and you could pick from two channels with different songs on. It was really fun to take the headphones off and watch everyone dancing away without any sound. It was also brilliant hearing everyone belting out the songs at the top of their voices, I’d have loved to have been working the bar there that night, it would have been pretty funny. I’m so glad I’ve finally got to experience a Silent Disco!
It was lovely night as I hadn’t seen Jess in so long, it felt like the group was reunited again and now we have loads of things to look forward to together, we have plans to go to Thorpe Park and Northampton and the group chat is more active, or should I say ‘lit’?
Friday was a lovely evening, as I went out for a colleauges leaving do. I finished work at 6 and went straight to Nandos with Beth and Charlotte, Nandos is lush and I am craving one now. We then went on to Turtle Bay, a Carribean cocktail bar. I ordered Bahama Mama’s, which are okay but not my favourite drink and then I ordered the Tobago Tea which is one of the nicest cocktails I’ve had, it’s got mango in which is lovely 😍
There was a big group of us at Turtle Bay and lots of people came and went. We all had giggles and friendly chats and it was nice to get to know some of the work girls a bit more.
After Turtle Bay, a few of us went on to a bar / club at the Hub. It was so much fun to have a dance with everyone and it was great that Beth was there too, she’s one of my bestest friends so I’m thrilled that we work together and get to go to work do’s together! Since I had work on Saturday I wasn’t drinking a lot, but Beth was quite tipsy and it was so funny. Beth is so cute and we always have jokes together, I can say anything to Beth and know she won’t judge me and we can just have a giggle about everything!
We left around midnight, it would have been great to stay longer but I had a fab night anyway. 💁🏻
On Sunday I went to Pinks with the girls – Em, Chantal, Jess and Sam. It was so much fun. Since it was Bank Holiday we knew it would be busy so we left fairly early, yet we still had to queue! The queue was pretty jokes though and we made friends with some random girls, as you do. We all kept singing ‘work work work work work’ and it sounded awful but so funny.
When we got inside, it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. I much prefer it that way, so I was pleased. The music was so so good. They played One Direction, old skool Justin Bieber (Baby baby baby ooooh) and many more fabulous tunes.
We had so much fun dancing the night away, again I didn’t drink a lot as I’m trying to be more sensible but I still had lots of fun and I saved more money too 😋 We had a great time.
There was a crazy girl on the dance floor who was literally getting with this guy and then with his friend and then both of them at the same time, her friends were just watching her like oh gosh.
Emily, Chantal and I decided to leave at around half 1 after the mandatory diner visit. Cheesy chips for the win!! 🍟 I had a great time with my girls, it was a good night with lots of smiles, happiness and dancing. 💃🏻
I’ve had a great few days partying, dancing and spending time with my friends.
Thanks for reading lovelys, I hope you’ve had a good weekend too.
Love, Jennie ❤️ xxxxxxxxxxxxx
