Hello lovelies ❤️ I hope you’re all well 🙂 Today it’s that time again to reflect on the month of May. For me, May was a month of highs and lows and I probably hit rock bottom a couple of times, but the hard times do not overshadow the good and as the saying goes – ‘Everything happens for a reason’. I honestly feel like the hard times I’ve come across have made me stronger, more determined and I now have a more positive attitude because I know a little positivity goes a long way.
May was very much a family orientated month, as I spent a lot of quality time with my parents and sister. Spending time with my family is so important to me, and I feel as though we made lots of lovely memories with each other in May. My parents, sister and I also visited my brother, sister in law and nephew down in Wiltshire which was really really lovely. We spent the morning at there house and then visited a local farm which was cool, I haven’t been to a farm in years so it was really great to do something different. We all had a really lovely day together, with sunny weather and sunny moods. 🌞
I went on lots of little adventures and explored new places in May, visiting Howe Park, a local nature centre with my parents. That day was a beautiful one, it was great to explore with my parents and see them happy and smiling together. It reminded me of our time spent living in Menorca. Then I went to London with my bestest friend Emily, and we visited London Zoo. This was the first time I had even been to London Zoo, I love visiting new places and I was so happy to be there. We saw giraffes, penguins and many other exciting animals. I had such a fun day with Emily, it was really nice to go on an adventure with her, spend the day together and visit somewhere new.
I didn’t go on many nights out in May and now I feel as though I’m having withdrawal symptons! I went on a couple but they were all quite short and sweet, I left at around 1am each time. I really hope I go out a couple of times this month and have a really great time. I just get so tired, but the next night out I go on I’m gonna make sure is a good one. Also I’m buzzzzzing for Magaluf. 👏🏼
At the end of the month I visited London again, this time with my sister Zoë to see the musical Matilda. It was such a fun day, I really enjoyed going to the theatre and also spending the day with my sister. We had lots of fun together and I definitely think it helped our relationship grow even more. Then on the last day of May, Zoë and I went to see Annie at our local theatre. Annie is my favourite musical ever and this was the first time I’ve seen it live, it was so good!! Again it was great to spend time with my sister Zoë and now we have two more wonderful memories together. ❤️
Work wise, I had an up and down month- I’m not going to get too deep into it but like I said at the start of this post, everything that’s happened has made me more positive and now I love love love my job! ☺️
I also spoke to my ex throughout the whole month of May which is actually amazing, normally I get too annoyed by him after around two weeks. We aren’t speaking anymore and that’s okay, but that’s a story for a different post. I met up with the ex once during May and we had a nice time 🙂 Speaking to him made me happy but also frustrated and annoyed, so even though I care a lot for him, I’m hoping that maybe one day he won’t play a part in my life anymore, at all.
All in all May was quite an adventurous month, and a little bit of a rollercoaster of emotions but really great and exciting all the same.
We are in June now (obvs) and I’m hoping this month brings me lots of happiness, friendship and success. I want to make more fab memories with my friends and to also spend lovely time with my family. I’m also hoping to achieve lots and lots at work.
Thankyou very much for reading, I hope your May was fabulous and that June is even better! Lots of love, Jennie ❤️ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
