Shopaholic Sunday | Disney Disney Disney

Another few pay days have been and gone and as per usual, I have been sure to treat myself. Don’t get me wrong, I love saving my money but I also can’t resist a little spend here and there and in the past few months I’ve spent quite a lot. With payday and Christmas just around the corner I won’t be buying myself so many goodies in the next few weeks as all my dolla will be going on pressies, meaning today I’m going to be collecting all my new purchases together to bring you one big haul of what I’ve been treating myself to these past few months.

Most of my purchases recently have been all Disney related because as most of you know, I’m a huge Disney fan! In fact, I think 90% of this haul is Disney merch…

In September I vacationed to Florida where I naturally treated myself to loads of Disney merchandise with one of my favourite purchases being this amazing cuddly Beast which is just the cutest, I knew I couldn’t leave Florida without him!

Back in the UK and adding to my stuffed toy collection (as if I don’t have enough already) I picked up this super cute Christmas themed Minnie Mouse from the Disney Store. I love Disney and I love Christmas, so this cuddly toy combines two of my favourite things in one.

Whilst in the Disney Store I just had to pick up this Moana mug to go with Minnie! With the season of hot chocolate upon us and Moana being one of my favourite Disney films, I felt it was a must.

Along with my Disney merchandise I also picked up four Disney films as they were on offer in HMV for 2 for Β£12. Naturally I got 4 for Β£24! Not bad for four Disney DVDs if you ask me. I bought The Princess and The Frog, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and Sleeping Beauty.

Lastly with the Disney goodies, I bought myself the book Once Upon A Dream by Liz Braswell. Once Upon A Dream is one of the books in the Disney twisted tales series and a darker version of Sleeping Beauty. Sleeping beauty is one of my favourite Disney films and I love the twisted tales series, so I’m really excited to read this!

Once Upon A Dream isn’t the only book I’ve added to my ‘library’ recently. I also picked up two new books by my favourite author Jane Costello. I bought ‘All The Single Ladies’ and ‘The Love Shack’ both of which I’ve yet to read. I’m sure they’re going to be amazing reads because I love Jane Costello’s work.

With my trip to the Harry Potter studios tour and 6/7 books down, when I spotted Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows in Asda for just Β£4 I had to treat myself! It’s been on my shopping list for ages and for that price I couldn’t say no, I’ll definitely be reading this soon to get me in the magical mood for the studios tour!

In keeping with the book theme and getting prepared for 2018 early, I picked myself up two diaries for next year. Both of them are really bright and positive with inspiring words on the front covers to really set the good vibes so my 2018 is the best ever! I love being organised and I’m buzzing to use these!

Finally in today’s haul I’m going to be showing you a handful of the Christmassy bits and bobs I’ve picked up recently! Helloooo, I’m so excited to get festive! I’ll of course be doing a ton of Christmas themed hauls as December begins so consider this a sneak preview! Check out my Father Christmas lunchbox, isn’t it the coolest!?

    1. Omg the beast is adorable right!? The mug is brill it’s so tall too like it fits so much hot chocolate! Ah is it really??? I need to see what the US version looks like! I also know you have different titles for a couple of them right, Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone for one? Omg yes the Lion King is incredible, I love the soundtrack! Have you seen it on Broadway?

      1. So adorable! It is! But I also heard that they were redoing the US covers (or had done them) from even the original ones which makes me sad. And yes we do have different titles! Personally I preferred philosophers stone to sorcerers. Lol. It really is. And yasssss! It was amazing! One of my favorite shows of all time. Truly magical. Spectacular! (Do you think I love it with all the exclamation points and gushing I just did? lol) Okay I will stop but no seriously so good. If you ahem the chance to see it go!
Actually wasn’t it on the West End for awhile? ❀

  2. Oh no way!? Really, they probably have redone them because the other ones were so old or something. The books have been out soo long now and people are still loving them! Yeah I don’t know why they felt the need to change the names like it doesn’t make much of a difference, keeps it interesting though I suppose! Haha so enthusiastic I love it!!! Yes its still on at the west end- i don’t think they’ll ever take it off its so popular. I’m getting tickets to see it for Christmas! πŸ˜€ x
