Hello my lovelies!
Once again it’s monthly favourites time and of course today I’ll be sharing with you everything I was loving throughout April. Todays post features quite a mix of things, more often than not my monthly favourites tend to feature lots of beauty products but this time my April favourites are definitely more varied with music actually dominating this post.
Without further ado, let’s go.
This is one of my favourite eyeshadow primers of all time. It’s waterproof, so of course does a really great job at holding eyeshadow in place. I would describe this primer as ‘strong’ because it holds eyeshadow on so well. I use this primer everyday without fail, it prevents any creasing and holds shadow on all day. This product is so reasonably priced at only £6.00, I really couldn’t recommend it more.
In the past couple of weeks I’ve really gotten into moisturising. Previously it was something I did very rarely but now I’m hooked, there’s nothing better than having silky smooth skin right? I’ve always been a fan of Dove products (I always use their deodorants) so of course when choosing my moisturiser I had to pick one from Dove and this one I chose is just delicious. It makes my skin feel so, so soft and smells yummy, just like coconuts. An added bonus to this product is that it’s suitable for all skin types and of course as well as making skin feel soft, it nourishes the skin too.
I have been loving Charli XCX’s music lately. Her track ‘Boys’ is such a fun, sassy song so since I love that, I decided why not listen to some more of her music? I’m so glad I did! I love all of her songs, they’re all so fun and sassy and whenever I listen to them I just want to go out and have fun with my friends and stay young forever. I’d say her music is definitely very feel good and upbeat, a few of my favourite tracks from Charli would have to be After The After Party, Babygirl and Dirty Sexy Money.
I’m sure you have all heard the track ‘Mine’ by Bazzi which is just such a lush song, I first heard it through a YouTube ad and I fell in love instantly so of course I decided to listen to some more of his tracks. Well, I’m totally obsessed! I love Bazzi’s work and at the moment my favourite track from him would have to be Beautiful, it’s magical!
If it feels like paradise running through your bloody veins then you know it’s love heading your way. I stumbled upon this song by accident but wow I’m happy I did. I think for sure this is going to be a Summer anthem of 2018. Paradise is such a happy, upbeat, lovey song which instantly puts me in a good mood and fills me with excitement and love whenever I listen. If you haven’t heard this track then what are you waiting for? YouTube now!
In April I went to see Dua Lipa live in concert (she was amazing as to be expected) so naturally even though I listen to her music often, I was listening to it more throughout last month because of the concert. I love all of Dua’s music and I feel like there’s a track for every type of occasion, she has fun songs, she has love songs, she has everything! At the moment my favourite Dua tracks would have to be Genesis, IDGAF and her new track, One Kiss with Calvin Harris. Love her.
Law Of Attraction
As you all know I am a huge lover of the Law Of Attraction and a big believer in The Secret. Lately I’ve been getting more and more into a routine when it comes to practicing the Law Of Attraction, which includes watching LOA based videos every morning whilst I’m getting ready. I discovered Leeor Alexandra’s YouTube channel randomly one day through the suggested videos page and wow, I feel blessed that I did. I watch at least one video of hers every morning, she is currently my go to gal for LOA videos and I would highly recommend. She’s a lovely, friendly girl who posts videos on all areas of the LOA from Law Of Attraction practice tips, Manifestation Monday success stories to so much more. She has a video for everything and uploads regularly, so I’m excited to see what videos she uploads in the future. I find her videos are so motivating, inspiring and encouraging and I feel excited and positive about life after watching them. I am so thankful I found Leeor Alexandra’s YouTube channel and so happy she uploads such fantastic LOA videos, I would highly recommend whether you’re big into the LOA or just getting started, she’s incredibly inspiring.
If you’ve seen some of my most recent blog posts you’ll have read all about my holiday to Benidorm with my best friend Em last month. Well, it’s just had to feature in my favourites because I had so much fun! I never knew Benidorm would be such a fantastic place with so much to offer, there was so much to do there and I’m 100% going back as soon as possible. It’s such a fun place to visit and I had such a great time there with Emily.
Dua Lipa Live In Concert / A Night In Birmingham
As mentioned already, last month I saw Dua Lipa live in concert and it was just such an amazing night, one of my favourites of the year so far hence why it’s made my favourites as I just had such a great time with my girlies! Dua was of course amazing but the company I was with is what made the night so fantastic, my girls and I had the happiest time together.
Cinderella (the 2015 edition) is my all time favourite film so I just had to feature it in my favourites as last month my love for it grew even more. I adore Cinderella, I find the film so inspiring as Ella / Cinderella is the loveliest girl in the whole world. I just want to be her okay!?
I’ve always been a lover of Catfish, it’s such a fun show to watch but last month I definitely watched it more than usual. I have a ton of episodes recorded so I’ve just been watching random ones from different series and they’re all so entertaining. Also I just love Max, he is so funny and such a sass pot.
Oh my goodness. Wow. If you haven’t heard of The Brighton Girl you need to check her out. She is an anonymous blogger and the funniest gal on the blogosphere I swear. Her posts crack me up, especially her Tinder Diaries series. She is incredibly relatable and writes about real life events and relationships, along with beauty and fashion posts. I find her blog to be quite empowering and always, without fail entertaining. Definitely check her out guys!
So there you have everything I’ve been loving in the past month, I am sure most of these favourites will definitely carry themselves into this months (although don’t worry, I won’t repeat myself too much in next months post) because I’ve been loving everything mentioned so much.
