Today it’s time for my second ever makeup of the day and I will be sharing with you a look I created this week inspired by Perrie Edwards makeup from Little Mix’s ‘No More Sad Songs’ video.
This is quite a bold look using lots of red and black around the eye, really making the colour of my eyes pop. Although I was happy with how this look turned out, I definitely think it looked stronger in person and the photo’s just don’t do the makeup justice. I definitely need to up my makeup of the day photo skills. For sure something to work on!
No More Sad Songs
What I love about this look is how strong the eye is and the boldness of the eyeliner. Of course the look is paired with a nude lip so all the attention is focused on the eye. Perrie has quite a strong bronzer / contour in the video so I made sure to bronze and define my cheekbones as much as possible.
Ultimately I really like the way this look turned out. I do think I could have added a little more colour to the eyes to make them even more bolder and I could have blended the outer corners more but I do think even without that extra colour and blend the look is still quite strong. What I love most about the look is the bold wing eyeliner, the eyeshadow taken underneath the eye and the strong contour. I definitely think the colours used on my eye really makes the blue of my eyes stand out and pop, which I’m really happy about! I love a bold eye.

I definitely plan on having a go at recreating this look again because even though I do really like how it turned out, I think I could take it even further and really perfect the eye makeup! I wanted to share my first attempt here but stay tuned, because I will definitely be recreating my recreation of Perrie’s look again soon!
