Last week I went to see Jurassic World at the cinema, so naturally I had to theme my makeup that I wore that night accordingly. I decided to go for a nice green eyeshadow look and tie the look together with a green lipstick because when I think of dinosaurs and Jurassic World the first colour that comes to mind is green (even though the name of one of the main dinosaurs in the film is actually blue)!
I absolutely adore how this look turned out! I didn’t realise quite how much I would fall in love with the green shadow as it’s not a colour I wear often, but I actually think it suits me so well. For my eyeliner I decided to mix it up a little and instead of going for a black wing, I opted for white and gold liner which I think really brightened my eyes and made them pop. I also think the gold and white together with the green helped to create a pretty, soft eye look whilst making the blue of my eyes look even bolder than usual.
I have been loving freckles recently so I decided to draw on some freckles using my Bourjois Eyebrow Pen, which I think definitely made the look for me as freckles are so pretty!
To tie the look together and really play with those green colours I decided to opt for a green lipstick to go with the Jurassic theme. I used L’Oréal’s Balmain collection lipstick in the shade Instinct and I think it goes perfectly with this look.
