Hello my lovelies!
Anybody who knows me will know how much I love Disney and all things princesses. And I also love makeup!
One of my favourite princesses of all time is Princess Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty. I just love her!
Today I thought it would be really fun to create an Avant Garde Sleeping Beauty inspired makeup look, in honour of two of my favourite things, princesses and makeup.
Obviously my focus colours for this look were pink and blue, because of the famous pink and blue ‘battle’ between Flora and Merryweather, so I used blue eyeshadow on one eye, and pink shadow on the other. In contrast, on the eye where I wore blue shadow I used a pink liner and with the pink eyeshadow, I used a blue eyeliner. This was to symbolise the repetitive colour changing of Aurora’s dress from pink to blue.
I used a little silver glitter in the inner corners of my eyes just to add a little sparkle, because what princess look is complete without a little glitter?
I contoured my face with pink and blue shadow, pink on one side, blue on the other. I kept my lips very natural to keep the focus on the eyes, using just a matte pink lip liner to give them a little colour.
