Christmas is *almost* here, which means it’s time for one thing and one thing only… A Christmas Lush haul!!!!
Although I shared a Christmas Lush haul a couple of years ago where I spent over £100 on all the delightful Christmas-y bath treats, this time I managed to keep myself from going overboard and didn’t end up spending quite so much, however I did of course still treat myself to some amazing Christmas goodies which I thought I would share with you today through a haul.
I’ve bought lots of lovely goodies which I am so excited to use, and I am so excited to have lots of Christmas-y baths in the near future. It’s going to be so cosy!
Here’s a look at the products I’m looking forward to using… enjoy!
Jennie’s Christmas Lush Haul 2019
Without a doubt, I purchase at least one bottle of Snow Fairy every year. It is my favourite shower gel scent, and I simply couldn’t go a Christmas without buying one of these. I love Snow Fairy so much! Naturally, I had to buy the biggest bottle available for maximum longevity because I still want to be using this in the beginning of 2020. Normally when it comes to Snow Fairy I’d use it everyday, but this year however I think I’m going to save my Snow Fairy shower gel for those extra special occasions (and for all Christmas celebrations of course), because I really want to make the most of it and treasure it so I get the best use out of it as possible! It’s the most beautiful sweet scent and of course it’s pink and shimmery too, Snow Fairy will forever be a staple in my Lush Christmas haul’s because it’s simply perfect, which leads me to…
I picked up at least three of these this year because I knew I’d love them. I believe this Snow Fairy bath bomb is new out for 2019, as in the 2017 collection they had the Snow Fairy jelly bomb which although was nice, I personally prefer a standard bath bomb to a jelly, (and I don’t remember what they had for 2018) so I’m pretty pleased they’ve bought this new Snow Fairy bath bomb out. As you know, I’m a huge fan of the sweet Snow Fairy scent, and this bath bomb is so pretty and pink and Christmas-y I couldn’t limit myself to buying just one. I’m so excited to use them (at different times of course, hehe).
I promised myself when I went into Lush to do my Christmas shop this year I would do one spree and one spree only! I’d have a big splurge, but that would be it for the Christmas season. Now I’m thinking… why did I only purchase ONE Shoot For The Stars bath bomb? Why? What was I thinking? Shoot For The Stars is one of my all time favourite bath bombs, so I’m definitely going to have to save this one until nearer Christmas, when I can really appreciate it with a Christmas book in hand whilst I bathe. I love Shoot For The Stars because it’s so magical and pretty, I also enjoy using this as a mix with Lush’s magic wand bubble bar, for those extra sparkly, bubbly, Christmassy vibes, which leads me to the next item on my haul…
I treat myself to one of these every year. If you’re a fan of Snow Fairy you’ll love this bubble bar because it’s the same sweet scent, and it BUBBLES. Magic Wand is a reusable bubble bar meaning you can get a good few uses out of it, so it’s definitely an investment when it comes to your Lush shopping. I’m so excited to use this one and to enjoy all the sweet scented goodness.
As mentioned above, I love using this bubble bar with the Shoot For The Stars bath bomb, and perhaps I will even have a go at using it with the Snow Fairy bath bomb this year. That will be so much fun, I’ll definitely let you guys know what I think about that combo too whether it be through a review or just mentioned in one of my weekly highlights post, I shall decide nearer the time!
As soon as I saw this pretty little bath bomb in the Lush store, I knew it had to be mine. How cute is this design? I love the colour combination and the little embellishments on top of the bath bomb which are just too pretty! Scent wise, Lush describe this on their website as ‘floral’ and ‘alluring’ but for me, I would describe it as warm and relaxing! I’m so excited to use this one, and again, I’m thinking, why did I only buy one!?!? I’m definitely going to have to save this one until nearer Christmas time, it’s so festive!
I know this isn’t a Christmas bath bomb however when I saw ‘Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds’ in store whilst doing my Christmas shop I simply had to pick one up, as sadly this bath bomb has actually been discontinued. Boo. My local Lush store still had a few left over so it was a must that I purchase, and I’m definitely going to save this one for the New Year / Spring Time. All I can say is why Lush, why have you discontinued this bath bomb? It is so perfect, and makes you feel like you’re bathing in the Maldives sea. It’s a great bath bomb to use if you’re meditating too because it’s really calming and peaceful. I did actually write a review of ‘Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds’ on the blog, so if you’d like to check that out then please click here and maybe we could all start a petition for Lush to bring this beauty back. Hehe.
Side note: So after doing my Lush Christmas shop, I went in again just for a browse and I discovered this beauty:
The ‘Fireball’ bath bomb! How cosy does this look? I can’t believe I didn’t see it in store when I went to do my Christmas shop, they must not have had it in yet because if they did then there’s no way I wouldn’t have purchased one of these delightful bath bombs! Could it be any cuter? It’s so festive, I can not believe I didn’t get one, but when I saw it in store on my browse I knew I’d already made a promise to myself that I would do one Christmas Lush spree and one only (money saving and all that), so I was strong and resisted temptation which I am actually proud of myself for doing. However this Christmas bath bomb looks so divine, I have to say if anybody is stuck on what to get me for Christmas, then here’s your idea right here, hehe. Thank you in advance… 😉
I am so excited to use all of my wonderful Christmas bath bombs, and I am sooo hoping someone treats me to the Fireball this Christmas because I am craving it, it just sounds so warm. Hey, maybe if I say it’s a Christmas present from me to me, then I’m not really going back on my promise am I? It’s part of my Christmas present shopping then… what do you think? Should I treat? Maybe we’ll see nearer Christmas, hehe…
