Hello my Earth Angels and welcome back to my blog, how is everybody today?
Today, I wanted to share a short but sweet post with a few little quotes to remember if you’re ever going through something a little bit rough, a little bit horrible, or a little bit icky.
Life is a blessing, but that’s not to say we’re never going to have our bad days. The good news is, those bad days are how we grow, learn and transcend, and the even better news is that everything is temporary, so even if you’re having a crappy day or week, it’s not forever, and better days are coming, so on that note, here are a few of my favourite quotes I like to remember when I’m feeling a little low, I hope they help you too!
‘Everything is temporary’. There are longer versions of this quote, but essentially, that one sentence is everything. I’d love to say who I’m quoting this from, but being that it’s such a simple statement, and a fact at that, I don’t think there’s anyone to give credit too, at least, nobody came up on google. Hehe! This is a nice thing to remember though, that everything is temporary. I try not to think of it too much when things are going good because you know, I’m just trying to enjoy my happiness, but when I’m feeling down, when things are feeling a little rough, I remind myself of this. It’s just temporary, feelings change like the seasons, being down in a moment doesn’t mean being down forever. This too shall pass, remember that. And remind yourself of your own experiences too. If I do feel down, I remind myself of the times I’ve been down before, and the highs and happiness I’ve experienced after. I know it gets better, and a moment in time is not a moment for life. Happiness prevails, always!
‘If it’s not going to matter in 5 years, don’t spend more than 5 minutes being upset by it’. This is another quote where I’m like, who do I give credit to here? So far on google, the most acknowledgement is going to Cher, who said ‘If it doesn’t matter in 5 years, it doesn’t matter’ and honestly, this is the facts and the truth. Does anything matter in 5 years time? No. This is an important one to remember, because in the grand scheme of time, most things just really aren’t that deep. It’s all so chill. Enjoy life, and relax. Don’t sweat the small stuff you know and like they say, it’s all the small stuff (A book by Richard Carlson).
And finally –
‘What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t even happened yet’ – Anne Frank.
You’re going to be just fine, better than fine. Happiness is yours for the taking and your life is going to be filled with so many blessings and so much joy, believe it beautiful and remember all of the wonderful experiences you’ve already manifested. Trust me, more of that is coming your way.
Magical times are upon you.
