that being left on read frustration | Poetry

I got too much on my mind

I don’t love you

You’re not even mine

But I’m spending so much of my time

On you

Wishing you’d reply

Fighting my urge to

Say hi

To you

Because I won’t message twice

That could never be my vibe

Because if you wanted to come through

You would

It’s getting quite boring now

Wish I could stop thinking about

Frustration of being left

Delivered, seen,

My messages been read

Wondering why you not

But I could be the ripest peach

But there will always be

Somebody who doesn’t like peaches

I guess that’s You

If you can’t see my worth

Then you’re not worth

My time

Maybe you’re just not meant

For me

What will be will be

I’ll leave you

And set me free

Release you

From being trapped inside my head

And start loving me

This is so beautiful and relatable, being left on read and seen is the worst and someone stuck in your head is terrible
Such a beautiful poem Jennie ❤
