I just want to write a little reminder that whatever you may be going through right now, it’s not forever.
This time last year I was in a really bad place, and there have been times this year where I’ve gone to bed and felt so grateful to not be where I was this time last year.
I feel so relieved and thankful to know I’m not in that place anymore. I can’t believe it.
There was once a time where I couldn’t see a way out of the darkness I was going through,
But now here I am,
Grateful when I go to sleep that I’m not in the place that I once was,
Grateful to be able to feel bonds with my family,
To not scream at them to leave me alone because I’m suffering inside,
But to embrace them and show them love and know that I deserve that,
And so do you,
So please remember,
WHATEVER you may be going through right now,
I promise you it’s not forever!!!
I promise you that even if you can’t see it right now,
You will laugh and smile again,
And you will mean it.
There will come a time too where you feel grateful that you made it through.
You will look back and think ‘wow, I’m so grateful I’m not in that place anymore, I made it’.
And maybe even, you’ll be thankful for the things it taught you,
Even if the only thing it taught you,
Is just how strong you are.
You got this.
I believe in you.
Believe in yourself too.
You deserve happiness
